Bomb attack: House of ANP leader targeted in Charsadda
No casualties or serious injuries reported; property damaged due to the intensity of the blast.

Awami National Party (ANP) member Farooq Khan’s residence was targeted in a bomb attack in Charsadda, Express News reported on Wednesday.
No casualties or serious injuries were reported. The property, however, was damaged due to the intensity of the blast.
The political candidate reportedly returned home from the nearby area of Sardheri after campaigning for the upcoming elections.
Minor injuries of those affected were treated at the Charsadda Hospital.
Earlier on April 16, at least 18 people were killed and 49 others sustained injuries in a suicide blast in Peshawar near an ANP meeting. The bomb blast took place in Yakatoot just after the arrival of senior ANP leader Ghulam Ahmed Bilour.
Also in April, ANP local leader Mukarram Shah lost his life after his car was blown up in Manglawar, Swat and Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa MPA Adnan Wazir was injured when a remote-controlled bomb exploded near his vehicle in the Wali Noor area of Frontier Region (FR) Bannu.
Candidates of political parties have come under attack as they begin election campaigns, with threats from various militant groups in the country.
