Weapons policy: K-P regulate arms industry
Dealers should provide site maps, names and national identity card numbers of skilled and unskilled workers.
PESHAWAR:
Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa’s (K-P) Home and Tribal Affairs Department has asked arms manufacturers to submit details on their businesses by April 29, or have their licences revoked. The details are being requested in order to regulate the arms manufacturing industry, read a notification issued from the Home and Tribal Affairs Department on Tuesday. The notification read dealers should provide site maps, names and national identity card numbers of skilled and unskilled workers. The department has made it clear that failure to provide this information will result in action being taken under the rules and regulations of the K-P Arms Policy 2013.
