Freewill marriage: Couple shot dead on return to village
They only returned to the area a few days ago on their family’s persuasion.
HYDERABAD:
A couple, who married of their own will, was shot dead in Benazirabad on Monday.
The police said that Moomal Chandio, 23, and her husband, Wahid Bux Chandio, 20, married each other without the consent of their families a few months back and left their Manthar Chandio village.
They only returned to the area a few days ago on their family’s persuasion. Chakar Chandio, a relative of Moomal, has been arrested though the police have yet to register a case.
