Election manifesto: JI wants to revolutionise the tax system
JI chief Syed Munawar Hasan says his party will work to combat terrorism.

The Jamaat-i-Islami (JI) on Monday announced its 29-point election manifesto in Karachi, Express News reported.
Announcing his party's election manifesto, JI leader Syed Munawwar Hasan claimed that once they are elected into power they will revolutionise the tax system in the country, stressing the importance of following Islamic state established in Medinah as a model.
Hasan said that a municipal system needs to be put in place to ensure the prosperity of Pakistan.
The JI chief added that their party will work to defeat terrorism. He further added that the pivotal importance of tribal areas should be kept in mind.
Hasan claimed that the Chief Election Commissioner is ignoring matters pertaining to religion.
