Snooker: Cueists start preparations for mega event
Apart from Pakistan, 16 other countries have confirmed their participation in the tournament.

The cueists, who will be participating in the Jubilee Insurance 29th Asian Snooker Championship to be held in Karachi from April 27 to May 3, started training yesterday at the Khurram Agha Snooker Club in Karachi.
Apart from Pakistan, 16 other countries have confirmed their participation in the tournament. India, Afghanistan, Philippines, China, Qatar, Hong Kong, Singapore, South Korea, Iran, Sri Lanka, Iraq, Syria, Kuwait, Thailand, Mongolia and the UAE along with the host nation will be vying for the prestigious title. Pakistan will be represented by the current IBSF world champion Mohammad Asif, Humza Akbar, Imran Shehzad, Muhammad Sajjad, Abdul Sattar, Babar Masih, Shahid Aftab and Abu Saim.
