LAHORE:

Spokesperson for the former Punjab chief minister Shahbaz Sharif on Sunday said the news about the expenses on the security of Shahbaz Sharif are highly exaggerating and misleading as the actual expenditure is less than half of the amount being mentioned.

The spokesperson said Shahbaz worked with least protocol and security even when he was the chief minister and the expenses that occurred on his security have been much less than those of his counterparts in other provinces and the important personalities in the federal government.

He said the continuous demand from some circles for further reduction in the security of the Sharif brothers is creating doubts in the minds of the people.

The question is that who will be responsible in case of any untoward incident.

“Both the leaders are an asset for the nation and their security is responsibility of the state,” he said.

Mian Brothers are our most important assets. Any mishap to their lives could cost us in billions.

People of pakistan are an asset of pakistan, not two politicians. What has he or his brother done to provide security to the real assets of pakistan (its people). Where was the chief minister when minorities were being brutally descriminated against. Half of his police escort would have been enough to control the incident. People who blindly pass comments such as “Both the leaders are an asset for the nation and their security is responsibility of the state,” are nothing more than illetrate ticket hungry politicians.

Sab say pehlay pakistan … pakistan zindabad

Well the same person who is responsible fir my security against any untoward incident Mr. Spokesman. If he is an asset to the country then he has nothing to be afraid of, as the people will protect him. If he has done nothing and is corrupt then he has everything to be afraid of, its that simple stupid.

As people are blind enough to accept that? Why not the spokesman look at several video and photos of so called Khadim e Aala prior defending the budget???

If they are the assets(leaders) of State, they should be responsible for the security of people/citizens, and not citizen’s taxes should be used for their security. What is the difference between a dictator/King/Pharaoh and these assets?!

They have amassed enough wealth to have their own security arrangements. They need to give to the country ….. not take from it

All 180M Pakistanis are asset to this country.

Every son is life to his mother, ask any mother who has lost her son to the terrorism, to me his security is more important than the security of these baboons. These people are wasting precious national resources on their own well being… what is the need of two secretariats, such huge Governor houses and an army of bearers and servants, whereas common is rotting in load shedding and ques of CNG. Enough of this crap, WAKE UP NOW.

Chotay Mian and Baray Mian are enjoying the status of Emperorship. Baray Mian Sahib is allowed only 8 security personnel while Chotay Mian only 9-12 but both are collectively enjoying security of 319 personnel’s. Check out their mentality rather than focusing on the security of common man they are enjoying status quo. These people have tons of money and can look after their own security. Have they ever thought that the money spent on their security and of their relations can be spent on poor of this country. Shame Shame & shame
