Allotment of tickets: 31 PTI members threaten resignations

Members criticised the distribution of party tickets calling it unfair.

FAISALABAD: As many as 31 members of the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) have warned of collective resignation from the party over what they called “unfair distribution of party tickets” for general election 2013. The members held a meeting on Sunday with the party’s district general secretary, Javaid Ashraf, in the chair. They criticised the distribution of party tickets calling it unfair. They said they would stage a demonstration on Monday (today) if the decisions were not reviewed. Engr Javaid Iqbal, Mian Saqibur Rehman, Saleem Jahangir Chattha, Anwar Saleem, Naseer Hundal, Mian Sarfaraz Guddu, Najamul Hasan (Tota Pehalwan), Munawwar Munj, Chaudhry Mamoon, Muneer Niazi, Rana Mubashar Ali Khan, Naeem Khan and Imtiaz Akram Wahla attended the meeting.
