Lahore High Court Chief Justice Umar Ata Bandial on Friday said he hoped that the caretaker government would not violate court orders against a kite-flying-Basant. On Friday, Justice Bandial dismissed three petitions against the celebration of Basant and disposed of one in favour of the celebration. He observed that no notification had been issued in this regard and no petitions could be filed on mere assumptions.
