Throwball: Karachi outplay Larkana in opener

Defending champions Karachi began their campaign at the fifth Sindh Men’s Throwball Championship with a victory, outplaying Larkana 2-1. The two-day championship will continue today as Sukkur, Hyderabad and Mirpurkhas play their first matches. The championship is featuring five teams, and the top two sides will play the final today. According to the Sindh Throwball Association officials, the championship will help in finding new talent for the upcoming National Throwball Championship that takes place next month. “Sindh produced some of the best throwball players in the country and with this championship we are hoping to form a good team,” an official told The Express Tribune.
