According to the briefing given by the company’s CEO Tabish Gauhar and Chief Marketing Communication Officer Ghufran Atta Khan, KESC has invested $1.2 million in flood relief. Their investment has helped at least 30,000 Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in lower Sindh.

The minister and his team were taken on a tour of the Care Camp, which is equipped with facilities such as water filtration plants, sanitation and dispensary facilities.

“These are testing times for the nation and we all need to join hands with the government to help the distressed flood survivors,” said Shah, adding that apart from providing immediate relief, the government is taking measures to rehabilitate displaced persons and making them part of the economy.
