Sends In Apology: Dr Mubashir retracts charge

He expressed his regrets that the plea brought Anver Majid adverse publicity.

Dr Mubashir Hasan, a founder member of Pakistan Peoples Party, has retracted his statement against the chairman of a Karachi-based sugar mill.

In a letter addressed to Anver Majid, chairman of Khoski Sugar Mills, Dr Hasan apologised over the allegations he had made against Mr Majid in an application filed with the Supreme Court. He has asked his attorney to withdraw the application.

He expressed his regrets that the plea brought Anver Majid adverse publicity, and said he could disclose the letter to any newspaper, TV channel and the Supreme Court for clarification.
