Car Accident: Woman, daughter killed, five injured

FAISALABAD:
A woman and her daughter were killed and five others were seriously injured in a road accident on Bhowana-Chiniot Road on Tuesday.
Bhowana police said Fida Hussain and his family were on their way to Jhang from Rawalpindi when the front tyre of the car they were travelling on burst near Adda Durgatta Kharlan.
Police said the driver, Hussain, apparently lost control of the car and it fell into a ditch, killing Hussain’s wife and her 19-year-old daughter on the spot.
Rescue 1122 officials said the injured included Hussain, his sons, Samiullah and Salman Hassan, as well as two other family members.
They said the injured were taken to Allied Hospital Faisalabad where their condition was reported to be critical.
