Football: FIFA to investigate Bulgaria friendly

South Africa’s friendly against Bulgaria, played on May 24 2010 will be one of the games that will investigated.

Football’s world governing body Fifa is set to back up an independent judicial inquiry to probe into a match-fixing scandal involving the South African national team before the 2010 World Cup, according to novinite.com. South Africa’s friendly against Bulgaria, played on May 24 2010 in Johannesburg which ended in a 1-1 draw, will be one of the games that will investigated. Bafana Bafana’s matches against Thailand, Guatemala and Colombia were also allegedly fixed by Singaporean Wilson Raj Perumal.
