DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s South Waziristan Cabinet has threatened to submit resignations if party tickets are not allotted to their recommended candidates in NA-41 and 42, said Cabinet chief Afsar Khan Mehsud.

At a press conference in PTI’s Secretariat, Afsar said three people had been recommended on consensus. Badshahi Khan Mehsud for NA-41 and Jawad Iqbal Mehsud and Dost Muhamad Mehsud for NA-42.

If tickets are allotted to anyone other than our nominees, we will set up a protest camp in front of the PTI’s Central office, he said. The names have been sent to the parliamentary board. “These people helped in PTI’s Peace March last year,” he added.

However, General Secretary Ajab Gul Wazir alleged that Asfar had no respect for merit and wanted to give the ticket to his brother Badshahi Khan Mehsud.
