Housing deficit: CDA to develop three more sectors
CDA invited bids from interested firms to carry out the survey in these sectors before starting the development work.
ISLAMABAD:
The Capital Development Authority (CDA) will soon launch a topographical survey of three residential sectors including C-15, C-16 and I-12 before carrying out development work there.
The civic authority has invited bids from interested firms to carry out the survey in these sectors, each spreading over 5,000 kanals, before starting the development work.
Following the survey, the CDA would start compensating the owners who have properties in these sectors to start the development work.
An official at the CDA said that the hiring of the firm would be finalised in a month time and as much time would be required to accomplish the task of carry out the development work.
He said both would be residential sectors which would help bridge the housing deficit in the city.
