DSP, guard killed in Quetta firing
Gunmen open fire at DSP Ameer Mohammad's car.
QUETTA:
Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Ameer Mohammad and his guard were shot dead by unidentified gunmen in the Essa Nagri area of Quetta on Monday, reported Express News.
According to rescue officials, the DSP was travelling in his car when he was targeted.
The DSP was initially injured by the attack. As he was being shifted to a hospital, he succumbed to his injuries.
Security officials cordoned off crime scene soon after the incident and began a search for the suspected attackers.
Last month, two security personnel were injured when a planted bomb targeted an FC vehicle in Quetta.
