Sabotaging Polls: ECP office in Naushki comes under grenade attack
Unidentified men hurled a grenade at the office.

The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) office in Naushki, a city some 160 kilometres away from Quetta, was attacked with a grenade on Saturday.
Naushki Police Station House Officer (SHO) Mohammad Afzal told The Express Tribune that unidentified armed men, wearing masks and riding a motorcycle, hurled a grenade at the office, damaging the premises and an ECP vehicle in the process. No casualties were reported.
“We were providing security to the ECP office in Naushki and the police returned fire, forcing the attackers to escape,” the SHO said. No group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
Naushki Police Station Head Moharir (head registrar) Waheed Ahmed said a case had been registered on behalf of the Assistant Election Commissioner Azizullah against unknown persons.
Two days ago, the Kharan ECP office also came under grenade attack.
