Pakistan cruise into U16 Asia Cup semis
Colts register third win in five-a-side hockey event.

Pakistan cruised into the semi-finals of the five-a-side U16 Asia Cup after registering their third successive win in Singapore yesterday.
The colts, who trounced Chinese Taipei 16-1 in their opening game of the 10-nation tournament, dispatched off China 18-1 before beating Japan 7-4, according to information provided by the Pakistan Hockey Federation.
Mohammad Atiq blasted a double hat-trick in the game against China, while Shan Irshad scored four goals. Captain Nohaiz Zahid Malik also scored his second hat-trick of the event with Junaid Kamal, Adeel Latif, Mubashar, Junaid Manzoor and Sikandar Mustafa scoring a goal apiece.
However, Japan were able to put up a fight before Pakistan, tipped as the favourites, prevailed in their third match of the tournament.
The team plays their last group game followed by their semi-final today.
