Get the look: Stylishly casual
cZara ticked all our style boxes by putting this chic ensemble together.
Designer Zara Shahjahan was spotted at the media preview of her latest venture with Kamal Lawn.
Zara ticked all our style boxes by putting this chic ensemble together. This is how you can achieve this look:
Hair
Zara left her voluminous, black hair open. Her side-parted hair looks very neat, but a nice fringe is going to make the do so much fresher.
Make-up
Since it was a daytime event, we are glad Zara kept her make-up minimal. To get the same look, go for Mac’s Crème in Your Coffee (Rs1,200) and brighten up your cheeks with The Body Shop’s all-in-one blusher Ginger (Rs1,800). For well-defined eyes like Zara’s, line your eyes with Rimmel’s ebony black kohl (Rs850) and daub a bit of Cover Girl’s silver eyeshade (Rs1,200) along the brow line.
Accessories
She’s scoring high on our style-o-meter with that box clutch from Alexander McQueen. Sassy! You can find cheaper alternatives at shops like EBH or Walk Eaze (Under Rs2,500). However, we would have loved her sporting some more accessories — maybe some earrings and rings to cut the somberness.
Outfit
The designer is wearing floral pants and a boyfriend blazer with faux leather sleeves from high street fashion retailer Zara. You can score the same jacket and pants from stores like Debenhams (Rs5,000 to Rs8,000); for cheaper options, rummage through the racks at Stoneage or Fifth Avenue (Rs2,000).
Shoes
Zara has us drooling over her pointed black Louboutins. For a similar pair of heels, head to Charles and Keith (Rs6,000) or Nine West (Rs9,000).
