Analysing History: Archeologist speaks on historical trading routes at KU
Communities living near the delta in Sindh contributed signifiantly to international trade, says professor.

A number of eminent intellectuals turned up to listen to archeologist Prof. Dr Valeria Piacentini speak about ‘History through archival and scientific sources’ at Karachi University on Wednesday.
Piacentini, who is the director of the Research Centre on the Southern System and Wider Mediterranean, Milan, is currently heading an excavation team in Bhambhore, Sindh.
According to her, the communities living near the delta in Sindh contributed signifiantly to international trade.
A number of eminent people, including Giulio Iazeolla from the Italian consulate and Christain Ramage from the French consulate, attended the lecture.
