Two policemen have been accused of forcibly entering the house of a Hindu high school teacher on Wednesday and beating up the family.
According to Naudero police SHO Sadoro Lashari, constables Shahid Channo and Musaib Bhutto of Larkana police lines were robbing the house of Manghan Mal, when he woke up. “The neighbours were alerted but the policemen escaped,” said Lashari, adding that Manghal and his brother Sobhraj were beaten up upon resistance.
The injured men were rushed to a health centre in the town, but Sobhraj was referred to Chandka Medical College Hospital in Larkana. The police have arrested Shahid’s father Qurban Channo and Musaib’s brother Suhail, but they have yet to file the case.
