Bird Aviary: Visitors complain of overcharging
A visitor says that they were facing difficulties to visit the park due to over charging by the administration.
ISLAMABAD:
The Bird Aviary in the Lake View Park has almost become inaccessible to the general public as the park administration is separately charging Rs 60 from visitors.
The visitors first have to pay parking charges and then for the entry charges of all family members including children, they end up paying more than Rs60 (per head) to enter the aviary.
“Nowhere in the world are visitors fleeced in such a way,” said, Usman Ali, a visitor, while referring to the fee being charged by the park administration.
Ali Zeeshan, a student, said that they were facing difficulties to visit the park due to over charging by the administration.
He also complained about provision of unhygienic snacks and said that the food being provided inside the park was priced too high.
