Balance and moderation play a pivotal role for keeping the morale of students high through all times.


This was stated by International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) President Prof Dr Ahmad Yousaf Al-Draiweesh while addressing the concluding ceremony of a seminar on “IIUI today and future vision” at Quaid-e-Azam Auditorium, Faisal Masjid Campus, said a press release issued by the university.

He said the university is equipped with capable scholars and dedicated faculty and hoped that the university would become one of the top-ranked universities of the world.


Draiweesh said in the light of the recommendations of the seminar, new targets of developments will be set by removing the deficiencies. He urged the students to interact and exchange views regarding the promotion of the university.

He underlined that through such gatherings the teaching methods and research endeavours would be enhanced and related issues be solved. Furthermore, he assured that maximum educational facilities to female students and faculty members would be ensured.

Addressing the seminar, IIUI Vice-President Dr Mumtaz underscored collective efforts for the development and progress of the institute.

He said that there is a need for efforts to achieve high rank among the contemporaries.

On the second day of the seminar Dr Nabi Bux Jumani, Dr Abdul Qadir Haroon, Dr Muhammad Tahir Khalili, Dr Samina Malik, Dr Muhammad Khaleequz Zaman, Nabil Alfauly Muhammad, Dr Inamul Haq Ghazi, Dr Abid Masood, Dr Nasrurdin Khudhry, Dr Ayaz Afsar, Dr Muhammad Sajid Mirza, Ikramul Haq and Naseem Razi presented research papers.
