Saving time: Late applications not to be accepted
Any cancellation application submitted on the day of case hearing will not be accepted, says CJ.

Peshawar High Court (PHC) Chief Justice (CJ) Dost Muhammad Khan on Wednesday termed it mandatory for lawyers to file an application to the deputy registrar 24 hours prior to the cancellation of any case hearing. The court also directed the PHC registrar and deputy registrar judicial to inform all the PHC circuit benches as well and to put up the directions on notice boards so the court’s time is not wasted. Any cancellation application submitted on the day of case hearing will not be accepted, the CJ said.
