Armed attack: Tribesman shot dead

KOHAT: A tribesman was gunned down in Sulaman Taalab area on Monday. The victim, Noor Jan, belonging to Tirah area of Orakzai Agency, was residing here as an IDP. The attackers escapted after the incident. The Saddar police station registered the case against unknown killers and launched investigation. Meanwhile, a child was killed when a stray bullet hit him during a festive firing at a wedding ceremony in Chambai area. The child was identified as Mubashir, who was taken to KDA divisional hospital but died of injuries. Meanwhile Kohat deputy commissioner banned display of all kinds of weapons for two months in the district. The section 144 was imposed suspending special permission order and licences of weapons of all the civilians especially the parliamentarians except the personnel of armed forces and police.
