Promoting education: KMC promises two new buses for KU

Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) administrator Syed Hashim Raza Zaidi has affirmed the provision of two new buses for Karachi University (KU) and promised to extend full support to the institution.
This was announced by DMC Central deputy commissioner and administrator who was chief guest at the inaugural ceremony of the course, Post Graduate Diploma in Local Government and Administration.
He also expressed Zaidi’s wish to grant a gold medal to the student who secured first position in the course.
Several prominent professors including the vice-chancellor of KU, Dr Muhammad Qaisar, were present at the occasion who expressed hope that the newly reinstated diploma programme would prove beneficial for the youth.
