Additional district and sessions judges performing their duties as returning officers began scrutinising nomination forms on Monday.
RO Malik Khizar Hayat Khan accepted 12 nomination forms, while rejecting one as it did not have all the required documents attached.
However, another form filed by the same candidate, Syed Fawad Hussain, running for PP-144, was among those accepted.
RO Nisar Ahmed began the scrutiny of nomination forms filed by 27 prospective candidates on Monday, including Mian Sarfraz Wattoo the MQM, running for NA-118, and Parveen Akhtar, running for PP-137. He invited them back for April 6 for further scrutiny.
