Crime at school: Seven-year-old boy molested
Police to take action against the suspect after receiving lab report.
RAWALPINDI:
A seven-year old boy of a private school was allegedly sexually molested by a watchman in the RA Bazaar Police Station’s jurisdiction.
Talking to The Express Tribune, Sardar*, father of Salman*, said that on Saturday evening at 6pm, someone informed him that his son was lying unconscious inside the Standard English School, Mughalabad.
“When I reached there, I found my son unconscious and I shifted him to the District Headquarters Hospital,” he said.
Sardar claimed that a watchman, identified as Shahid, sexually abused Salman* and fled the school after seeing Salman’s condition deteriorate.
The police on Monday conducted a raid on the house of the accused but his family members said that Shahid had gone to Faisalabad.
Investigation Officer Muhammad Sadiq said that samples have been collected and sent to a laboratory to confirm if the child had been abused or not.
“Action will be taken after confirmation of the report,” he said.
