Malik phones Altaf: Code of conduct during polls discussed
The political parties should solve all issues by mutual understanding instead of resorting to confrontation.

Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain and former interior minister Rehman Malik, during a telephonic conversation, concurred that all political and religious parties should arrive at a code of conduct for the general elections.
All political parties should show respect to each other, they said, according to an MQM press release issued on Sunday. The political parties should solve all issues by mutual understanding instead of resorting to confrontation. Problems being faced by overseas Pakistanis, who send remittances of billions of rupees to the country, were also discussed during the conversation.
