Khyber Agency: Candidates submit applications to contest in polls
Last date for the submission of applications is Sunday.

The candidates from Tirah Valley submitted the applications to contest in the upcoming polls.
According to the Assistant Political Agent (APA) of Bara, Nasir Khan Mohmand, Awami National Party (ANP) activists and provincial leader Salar Imran Afridi, who would contest from NA-46 and belongs to Tirah Valley, submitted his application to contest from the area adding that Salar would contest the elections not from the ticket of the ANP but as an independent candidate.
The APA said that from the Tirah Valley, Senator Fata Haji Khan Afridi, Sohail Ahmad from PML-N, Moulana Shamus Din from JUI-F, leader of ANPO Muhammad Ayub Afridi, along with independent candidates Kaptan Afridi and Haji Syed Rasin will contest elections independently. All the candidates belonging to Tirah Valley are expected to submit their applications on Sunday.
The ANP Preliminary Board decided to give ticket to Imran Afridi, however, he plans on contesting the elections as an independent candidate.
