Free and fair: ‘Hyderabad needs more policemen for elections’
Around 12 personnel will be deployed at each sensitive polling station and five each at others.

The police have declared 192 of the 790 polling stations in Hyderabad’s three National Assembly and six Sindh Assembly constituencies as sensitive. SSP Hyderabad Haseeb Afzal Beg told reporters on Saturday that an additional 5,000 personnel are required for the day of the balloting. According to him, 12 personnel will be deployed at each sensitive polling station and five each at others. The regional election commissioner of the Hyderabad division, Attaur Rehman, said the list of polling stations is still tentative - the final one will be announced 15 days before the date of the elections.
