MQM files memorandum in UN over Karachi delimitation
MQM urges international community to use their influence for holding free and fair elections in Pakistan.
Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s (MQM) US wing on Saturday presented a memorandum in the United Nations (UN) against delimitations in Karachi.
According to a statement from the party, the memorandum has been filed by MQM central organiser in the United States Junaid Fahmi.
The memorandum lists MQM’s apprehensions over the recent delimitations in Karachi announced by the Election Commission. It added that the delimitations was a conspiracy to usurp the mandate of the people and that illegal and extra-constitutional means were being used to suppress the MQM.
