Automated Car Parking: Rs2.5 million projects to open soon

A project to automate three parking lots at the Race Course Park is expected to be completed in 14 days, according to the Lahore Parking Company (LPC).
LPC media officer Fasiuddin said Altruistic Global Communication Network (AGCN) had won the bid to automate the parking lots 12 days ago.
He said the projected cost was Rs2.5 million. AGCN plans to set up an on-street parking having cameras in the parking space to monitor traffic.
The company would use the Parking Management Information System (PMIS).
For the two off-street parking lots; hand hand-held devices would be used to monitor vehicles. LPC plans to auction 250 city parking lots on April 2. A pre-bid conference took place earlier in March.
Frontier Works Organisation, Toll Tink, Inbox, AGCM, UCS, Mesi Enterprises, Golden Eagle Training, Chaudhry and Company, Vital International, KT, AA Enterprises, Future Link Green Parking, Theeta Technology and ICT took part in the conference.
