According to Rescue 1122, advocate Chaudhry Muhammad Khan, 79, was going in his car when unknown attackers targeted him outside the hospital.
By the time the rescue officials reached the spot, the lawyer succumbed to injuries. Later, he was shifted to a hospital for legal formalities.
The police have registered a case and further investigations are underway, said an official.
