‘Missing persons’: PHC asks spy chiefs to submit report
Justice Khan also ordered the APA to conclude the cases of missing personsin a month’s time.

The Peshawar High Court (PHC) on Thursday issued notices to the attorney general and chiefs of spy agencies to submit a report regarding ‘missing persons’ cases on April 25 and disposed some cases.
Hearing the case of Dad Muhammad, a division bench comprising PHC Chief Justice Dost Muhammad Khan and Justice Afsar Ali Shah said as the detainee was acquitted, the assistant political agent (APA) of Bara should release him on a fine of Rs0.2 million and two surety bonds.
Justice Khan also ordered the APA to conclude the cases of missing persons, Mian Jan and Pir Muhammad, in a month’s time after which their stay at internment centres will be against the law.
