Hockey: Malik to lead Pakistan in U16 Asia Cup

The Pakistan junior team management yesterday announced the final squad for the U-16 Asia Cup to be held in Singapore early next month.
The team’s chief coach and manager Tahir Zaman named Nohaiz Zahid Malik as captain of the ten-member squad.
The tournament, that is to be played from April 4 to 7, will be a five-a-side affair where as many as ten countries are expected to participate. The team also includes, Sheraz Hafeez, Mubasshar Ali, Sikandar Mustafa, Adeel Latif, Muhammad Atiq (vice captain), Junaid Kamal, Junaid Manzoor, Shan Irshad and Roman Khan. Rehan Butt, Zaheer Ahmad Babar and Sabir Ali will assist Zaman as coaches.
