Road Expansion: Citizen reports embezzlement

The National Accountability Bureau received a complaint from a citizen on Monday who pointed at the alleged embezzlement in the expansion of the road from Chashma Head works to Ahmed Shah Wali road.


The complainant, Malik Zafar Iqbal, also sent the application to the commissioner. Iqbal said Rs100 million had been allocated for the project of which the contractor and the officials embezzled Rs20m. He claimed that he had documentary proof of the corruption.
