A youth kidnapped 16 years ago at the age of six from Jahanian on Saturday reached his hometown after escaping from a forced labour camp located near Chaman.
Muhammad Ali, 22, told police he had been kidnapped and taken to a camp near Chaman where 10 more boys were detained. He said he was forced to look after their cattle, underfed and frequently beaten. He said he and another boy got a chance last week to escape.
Ali told police he was looking for his father, Muneer Ahmed, and mother, Sajida Bibi.
