4th Test: Lyon takes five but India edge ahead

Australia spinner Nathan Lyon took five wickets but India managed to edge past the tourists' first-innings total on day two of the fourth and final Test in Delhi.
Lyon took five for 94 as India failed to take full advantage of a superb start by their openers and were reduced to 266 for eight in reply to Australia’s 262 all out.
Murali Vijay and Cheteshwar Pujara put on 108 for the opening wicket before Lyon broke the stand. Lyon dismissed Pujara and Virat Kohli in quick succession and Peter Siddle then got rid of Vijay as Australia hit back.
India kept losing wickets at regular intervals but kept the scoreboard ticking. With Ravendra Jadeja contributing a brisk 43, India moved past Australia’s total at stumps.
Earlier, Australia added 31 to their total and were dismissed before lunch with Ravichandran Ashwin claiming five for 57.
India have already clinched the series after winning the three opening Tests and are now looking to record a historic clean sweep against Australia.
