Armed clash between Nawabshah students leaves SHO dead

A clash between two student groups in Quaid-e-Awam University of Engineering, Sciences & Technology (QUEST), Nawabshah, left a police officer dead and several students injured, Express News reported on Friday.
Members of the student groups opened fire at each other for reasons not known as yet.
Station House Office (SHO) Abdur Rehman, who arrived at the university to control the brawl was shot dead in the crossfire.
The body of the officer and other injured students were shifted to a local hospital.
The agitated students also set a motorbike on fire inside the university premises.
