Recruitments: FESCO employees’ strike enters day 2
The protestors staged a sit-in before the FESCO headquarters and demanded removal of all ‘illegal’ appointments.

Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO) employees on Thursday continued their protest demonstration over alleged illegal appointments in the company. Pegham Union general secretary Mian Iftikhar Ahmad said the employees’ children should be given priority in company recruitments as they had a given quota. He said FESCO authorities on March 19 had decided to make hundreds of bogus appointments. The protestors staged a sit-in before the FESCO headquarters and demanded removal of all ‘illegal’ appointments.
