Musharraf has the services of Barrister Salman Safdar and the Law and Justice Commission of Pakistan member AQ Halepota.
Earlier Musharraf’s aide told Express Tribune that they have the services of jurist Sharifuddin Pirzada to obtain bail before his arrival.
The Supreme Court Bar Association Vice President Abdullah Khan Kakar is all set to file a petition before the Balochistan High Court for bail before arrival in the Akbar Bugti murder case within a week
Similarly, a team under the supervision of senior party member Ahmad Raza Kasuri, will file an application before the Lahore High Court to get bail before arrival for Musharraf in the Benazir Bhutto assassination case.
Musharraf is set to arrive in Karachi on March 24, to contest the upcoming general elections.
Musharraf stands accused in the cases of Benazir Bhutto, Nawab Akbar Bugti and Lal Masjid but failed to present himself before the court and went in self-exile.

I am a student and my college received funds during his regime so I can say he is the only leader whose support reached us.
Welcome Musharraf, May Allah protect you.
Welcome Musharraf. Wish you all the success.
This is the gazillionth time he's coming. He isn't coming. Mark my words.
Last call for people of Pakistan.... to get rid of bhuttos, zardaris, mians, shariefs, mullahs, cheemas, khokars, butts, khars, gilanis, watoos,
Musharraf & IK is your future - at least get up early on election day, motivate your friends and families to cast vote for these noble men.
and someone needs to advice IK.. for greater cause.. he should join hands with all but not with Zardari and Sharifs.
He is most welcome. As a Pakistani he has every right to come to Pakistan. He should also bring along his side-kick Altaf Hussain to Pakistan. Two more crooks on the political landscape wont make much of a difference anyways.
Some are born great, some achieve greatness and some have greatness thrust upon them and Musharraf is one of those few. He is a born leader, fined tuned in the service of Pakistan Army who will turn the tide of grand public support in his favour and in favour of Pakistan the moment he lands on the soil of his motherland.
If he is arrested then the election process in pakistan will become invalid. He has more suport at gross root level than Imran khan and is certainly less tainted than Nawaz shareef and his party Let him come , let him fight the election and let him get rid of the coeupt PMLN and PPP
Some are born great, some achieve greatness and some have greatness thrust upon them. Musharraf is a born leader. His leadership skills, fined tuned in the service of Pakistan Army, will soon turn the tide of public support in his favour..
If the courts reject his bail...............will he still come ?
This is a brilliant chance for Pakistani people to overthrow these corrupt politicians and have to support Pervaiz Mushraff.
Welcome back Musharraf, Truth is that in musharraf,s regime gawadar port was made, sabukzai dam was made, universities, colleges and cadet colleges were made in his regime. HEC, Kargil war, a thinking against terrorists, Health, agriculture, economics, even every thing got progressed in his era. So welcome back my dear President
I fully support Musharraf.
Welcome back! I fully support you and wish you all the best.
@shah faisal:
making a one sided comment without knowing the truth or reality only makes you sound incompetent in forming your own rationale opinions. balochistan never prospered as much as it did under PM. massive development took place, so much that the budget allocated to balochistan was more than for punjab. time to stop spreading lies and countering them with reality.
In Urdu it is said "Andhon main kana raja" Where all are blind, one eyed stands out. Given the filth elite which governed the country for past 5 years he seems to be choice of lesser evil. Dear General Welcome to Pakistan. Naturally has the green signal from all stakes holder. Even Nawaz Sheirf on 20.03.2013, was kind enough to assure his problem free flight to Pakistan. In fact we are very strange nation. Same kind of people strangulate us under different topis and still we elect them to keep on staging the same show.
he should not come because of him the situation of Balochistan is totally distroyed
It would appear that Musharraf has little faith in Pakistan's justice system - if the rich/famous/elite can't get justice then what's that say about the chances for justice to the poor/common man.
@khi: I think the more clearer and bigger is mistake is Musharraf doing by returning. Cannot see any role that he can play in Pakistani politics apart from the fact that some intervention in the democratice process, that would be only harmful to Pakistan.
Over 100 overseas Pakistani businessmen, influential people have arrived from the UK, the US and Canada to go alongwith the former President. Today former President has gone to perform Umrah before returning back to Pakistan on 24th. He will be accompanies by over 60 international journalists and around 45 Pakistani media personnel who are especially flying in to Dubai to travel with him.
"Musharraf is set to arrive in Karachi on March 17..." This is clearly a mistake.
