Loadshedding protest in Muzaffarabad turns violent
At least 50 people injured as protesters pelt stones at police.

People protesting against unscheduled and prolonged loadshedding in Muzaffarabad turned violent on Thursday, reported Express News.
A heavy police contingent arrived at the scene as the protesters tried to enter the Azad Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly. The police resorted to aerial firing and baton charged the protesters to disperse them.
As many as 50 people, including the DSP of Muzzaffarabad, sustained minor injuries when the protesters pelted stones at the police. They also set a police bus on fire.
The protest continued for more than an hour.
