See You Next Winter: Birds from Siberia flying back home

ISLAMABAD:
The annual mass migratory cycle of the birds has reached its end as the avian guests that had flown south for winter in Pakistan have started flying back home to Europe, Central Asia and India.

The flight of millions of birds across fixed routes demonstrates the complexity and the wonder of the web of life.


Director Zoological Sciences Division, Pakistan Museum of Natural History Dr Muhammad Rafiq said there are a total of seven identified flyways in the world.
