Plea For Ban: LHC seeks Musharraf’s address

Petitioner asked court to ban Musharraf from public office for life, for repeatedly subverting the Constitution.

LAHORE: The Lahore High Court on Wednesday adjourned the hearing of a petition seeking a ban on the activities of the All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) led by General (retired) Pervez Musharraf.

Justice Nasir Saeed Sheikh asked the counsel for the petitioner to provide the complete address of the respondent, Gen (r) Musharraf, so a notice could be served on him.

Petitioner Muhammad Hayat has asked the court to ban Musharraf from public office for life since he had repeatedly subverted the Constitution.
