Jumping Ship: Former Bahawalpur MPA joins PML-N
Welcoming Waran’s decision, the chief minister said his government had set new records in public service.

Former Muslim League-Q MPA from Bahawalpur, Malik Muhammad Khalid Waran, on Wednesday announced his decision to join the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz.
Waran said Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif had served people well. He said he would do his part to strengthen the party.
Welcoming Waran’s decision, the chief minister said his government had set new records in public service.
He said the party would likely form governments in all provinces and development projects similar to those in the Punjab would be started in other provinces.
He said adherence to merit was the only effective way to put the country on the road towards progress.
He said his government had followed a policy of merit throughout its five years and eliminated the culture of corruption and nepotism.
