Tragedies: Two die in separate incidents

Two persons were killed in separate incidents in the Naseerabad area during the last 24 hours.


In the first incident, a young labourer drowned in an underground water tank on Tuesday.


Rescue 1122 sources said 20-year-old Tahir was working near a water tank at the new Airport when he slipped and fell into the water and drowned. Rescue 1122 later recovered his body.

Meanwhile, another labourer was killed after being hit by a cement mixer in the same locality on Monday.

Ziaur Rehman reported to the police that the speeding truck hit Khalid Ameen when he was on his way home.

He suffered multiple injuries and died on the spot. Tahir’s body was taken to District Headquarters (DHQ) hospital and later handed over to his family.
