Press Release March 19, 2013

KARACHI:

McDonald’s Pakistan was amongst almost five thousand McDonald’s restaurants in Asia, Middle East and Africa that offered up to one thousand free Egg McMuffins to their customers during breakfast hours (6.00 am to 10.00 am) on March 18, 2013. McDonald’s called this the National Breakfast Day.

This was a free breakfast event for potentially five million McDonald’s customers throughout Asia, Middle East and Africa – and more than 1,000 customers in each participating McDonald’s in Pakistan.

“We expect to serve this number,” Jamil Mughal, director marketing at McDonald’s Pakistan said prior to the event.

“Breakfast is a significant business for McDonald’s,” added Mughal. “We believe the potential exists for McDonald’s in the Pakistan region to gain more share during the breakfast occasion. So there will be ongoing breakfast promotions during the rest of 2013.”

Even breakfast at McDonald's is extremely unhealthy. The amount of additives, preservatives and different chemicals in their food is astounding! You are eating hundreds of chemicals you have never even heard of when you are eating McDonald's!

If you want to eat out, it's better to visit one of the local chains who get their fresh food supply everyday and not from thousands of miles away with a ton of preservatives and additives added to keep the food from going bad and not losing its flavor.
