Target killing: Two policemen shot dead
This was the third attack on policemen in last few days.
KARACHI:
Two policemen, Raja Khan and Zohaib Khan, were shot dead when their police mobile came under attack in SITE area on Sunday evening.
SITE division SP Ali Asif said the mobile patrol was at its regular picketing spot when at least four armed men riding two motorcycles opened indiscriminate fire on them. The assailants managed to escape. Following the incident law enforcers conducted a targeted operation in Jahanabad area of Pak Colony and detained several suspects.
This was the third attack on policemen in last few days. Earlier two policemen were killed in North Nazimabad and two in Defence Housing Authority.
