Football: Pakistan lose opening AFC qualifier

Pakistan started off a dismal note at the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Challenge Cup 2014 qualifiers as they lost to Tajikistan 1-0 in the opening match at the Dolen Omurzakov Stadium in Bishkek yesterday.
Despite containing their opponents in the first-half, Pakistan conceded a goal in the 89th minute, scored by Tajik captain Mukhmudov Khurshed. Pakistan now need to gather at least six points in two matches to qualify for the finals.
